Does Ascension work on M1+ Macs? (Mac Silicon/ ARM)
Short answer Yes! Ascension 1.6 is distributed as an Universal Binary and works on both Intel and M1 and above Macs - we recommend that you upgrade to version 1.6 for the best user experience.
Ascension 1.5.1 will also run as an Audio unit (AU component) on your M1+ based Mac using Rosetta2.
You can enable this option by visiting your Applications Folder, right clicking Logic Pro > Get Info > "Open Using Rosetta".

If you have migrated your Ascension installation from a previous Mac OS or computer you will need to re-licence Ascension.
Ascension 1.0.1 is not compatible with Mac OS 11 Big Sur or above. You must upgrade your synth to Ascension 1.6 using the Full Install Package.
